The Fox Den

The Fox Den can be described as a classic English pub with a rustic interior. Upon entry, customers can expect a welcoming, cosy environment with comfortable pouffes and sofas next to warm log fires perfect for those cold winter nights. The Fox Den also has a beautiful dining area, serving hearty traditional pub grub such as mouth-watering burgers and fish & chips. They also serve great side dishes and tasty sandwiches for fantastic lunchtime service.

The Fox Den offers a well-stocked bar offering a variety of premium lagers, ciders, local cask ales, fine wines, and a great gin selection to suit every taste, all at a great price roughly £4 to £4.60 for selected pints.

Situated on Bristol's outskirts, in Stoke Gifford, The Fox Den has a series of excellent walks right on its doorstep, like the Community Forrest Path that links country estates such as Blaise Castle House. It also sits next to a Holiday inn, so any tourists visiting Bristol will find this a perfect pub to start your night.

Although the Fox Den is great for those winter nights this quaint pub is even better during the summer with a variety of outdoor seating with overhead brollies to keep you nice and comfortable in the shade. After a lovely walk with your four-legged friend, this pub is perfect for kicking back and relaxing with it being a dog-friendly pub.

Overall, the Fox Den is a distinctive and quaint pub perfect for close friends and for taking that someone special. It is often best to make a day of it with this pub to get the Fox Den experience, both drinking and dining. Due to the Fox Den being a vibrant pub popular with families it is always advisable to book in advance as you may be turned away at entry due to its popularity, especially during the weekend. The Fox den is open on holidays such as Christmas day, boxing day and New year's with chefs offering a specialised menu of mouth-watering dishes; booking is strongly advised. Overall, we give this unique pub a 4 out of 5 ratings.
